How using a hydropool hot tub minimises maintenance

Category: Hot Tub

Especially at this time of year we all want to spend more time outside – but less time cleaning and maintaining the hot tub. And yet, this is the ideal season in which to start using your hot tub more. The answer is a self-cleaning system like the one that Hydropool has perfected. Not only does this ensure that your hot tub is always sparkling clean and ready for use but it also requires less of your time and attention to achieve this. Here’s now.

  • Less time checking and balancing chemical levels. No one enjoys this part of owning a hot tub but it’s also very necessary. The Hydropool PureWater system is one of the smartest around and means that you’ll use up to 50% less chemicals in your hot tub when you buy Hydropool. A Hydropool hot tub uses both ozone and UV-C as natural water oxidisers/sanitisers, reducing the need to shock the hot tub with lots of extra chemicals. This means a lot less work for you, less maintenance and more peace of mind when it comes to knowing that your hot tub chemical levels are perfectly balanced.
  • No need to drain the hot tub as often. Draining the hot tub is a key part of maintenance but can be very time consuming and messy. That’s why you’ll considerably reduce your maintenance burden by investing in a Hydropool hot tub. As fewer chemicals are required for a Hydropool hot tub there tends to be less need to drain and refill the water. And when it comes to any residue in the water, a Hydropool hot tub filters 100% of the water every 15 minutes. And because Hydropool hot tubs are some of the most efficient in the world you don’t need to worry about this boosting your energy bills either. You’ll get that optimum level of filtration with minimum effort. One great example of the way that Hydropool is energy efficient is the pumps – the signature Low Amperage Evergreen Pumps are 25-32% more efficient than even the closest competition.
  • Maintenance that manages itself. A Hydropool hot tub has a number of key features that mean that cleaning and maintenance don’t have to be such a big task. For example, the high flower skimmer is constantly removing debris and oils from the surface of the water so that this doesn’t get into the pipework. If you’re worried about floor debris then you might find yourself continuously draining and refilling the hot tub. However, that’s not a problem with a Hydropool model thanks to the unique floor vacuum that removes dirt and debris directly, meaning that you don’t need to drain the tub as much.
  • Automatic chlorine, bromine dispensing. Every Hydropool signature hot tub has an automatic sanitiser dispenser that contains chlorine/bromine pucks that will slowly dissolve and release sanitiser into the water over time.

From the features of the hot tub itself to the fact that you don’t need to drain and refill it so much, there are many ways in which a Hydropool hot tub minimises maintenance. We offer servicing and post-sales care for all of our customers to make sure that our customers get the best out of their hot tub.
